Dr. Lisa Klepczyk was born and raised in Central Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular and microbiology from the University of Central Florida before completing medical training at the University of South Florida (USF). While at USF, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then moved to Alabama for her internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where she served as co-chief resident her senior year.
While at UAB, Dr. Klepczyk trained in the latest evidence-based radiation technology including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric arc therapy (VMAT), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)/ Gamma Knife®. She is committed to working together with her patients to provide a meticulous radiation plan to achieve the best results possible while always keeping an open line of communication.
In her free time, Dr. Klepczyk enjoys running, spinning, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband, an endocrinologist in the area, and her Indian ringneck parakeet, Mina.
